Olivier Raulot (iNUI Studio): Bringing people together - New world, new challenges, new solutions
The Luxembourg-based startup iNUI Studio is addressing the Corporate world with its cutting-edge technology combined to a software enabling to (re)create social cohesion within the company. The first deployment – for Arendt – represents a real success.

Can you present your company in a few words?

iNUI Studio is establishing itself as a deep tech company from Luxembourg. We embody a team of experts in innovative natural user interfaces. We have invented and patented AIR TOUCH®, a one-of-a-kind technology enabling non-touch interactions. Basically, when interacting with a screen, AIR TOUCH® allows you to click “in the air” at a distance of 4 cm, without any physical contact with the device. Nowadays, our technology and our own touchless kiosks are deployed in Luxembourg, France, Norway and Canada for different use cases such as public transports, foodservice and corporate buildings where the need is strong.

"Companies have to strengthen their relations with employees and take care to maintain the internal cohesion between employees. This is where digitalization can help."

What are the main trends that influence your activity?

With the pandemic, there has been a collective awareness of hygiene. Companies were searching for an effective solution to keep their collaborators safe while keeping the business running. This a been a trigger for the adoption of our touchless technology since eliminating the physical contact is a very effective way to avoid the germs transfer. Post-covid, companies are evolving is a new context in which hybrid work and flexible hours are widespread. That’s a real organizational challenge to keep everyone synchronized and engaged. Companies have to strengthen their relations with employees and take care to maintain the internal cohesion between employees. This is where digitalization can help.

How does your company adapt to these new developments?

Just like we did for Arendt in Luxembourg, we sell an Interactive Social Hub made of our kiosk running SKA, our software platform. With this combo, companies can build and deploy effective interactive content, very easily since no coding or technical skills are required. We provide a wide range of modules such as survey, agenda, visio, poi map, media gallery, pdf reader, live TV, not to mention games. The deployment at Arendt constitutes a success with a high level of satisfaction and we notice that requests are increasing.
